Hello Pirates, this is your principal, Mrs. Davis, at Pasco Middle School with information and our calendar of events for next week.
It’s been another great week of school! We are seeing lots of smiles and learning going on! We also have recently named our volleyball, football, and cheer teams for this year, and are excited to see them demonstrate their Pirate Pride and leadership as student athletes! To add to the excitement, our students have earned a whopping 126,272 PBIS points already this school year through demonstrating our Pirate PRIDE expectations! They are Prepared, Responsible, In Control, Dependable, and Engaged, and we are PROUD of our Pirate community!!
I am also once again calling on families of all car riders to please follow the directions of the staff in the car loop. We have experienced drivers creating dangerous situations in the loop because they don’t want to follow the traffic pattern and respect school property, driving over cones and ignoring school staff. I am now working with Dade City Police to arrange support in enforcing traffic rules and school safety, something I was hoping to avoid but has now become necessary. Please do not arrive to drop off your child until 6:50am when they can be supervised, and help us keep everyone safe and less stressed by making sure you abide by the requests of staff without argument and keep our school property intact.

Monday and Wednesday the SVB Tennis Program will be held from 1:30-2:50pm.
Football practice is from 1:30-3:00p on Monday, and from 1:30-3:45p Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday is our first home game of the season against Cypress Creek Middle School at Pasco High School. Football team members need to meet at 5:00pm at Portable 9 to get on the bus for the game.
Volleyball practice is from 1:30-3:45p Monday through Thursday.
Cheer practice is from 1:30-3:00p on Thursday. Cheerleaders need to arrive to Tuesday’s football game 30 minutes before kickoff.
Friday is our first PBIS Celebration of the year during 5th period.
