Hello Pirates, this is your principal, Ms. Gilbert, now also known as Mrs. Davis as I recently married, at Pasco Middle School with information and our calendar of events for next week.

We have had a wonderful first week of school! It has been great seeing all of our students back on campus, and meeting our new 6th graders. Your kiddos are really engaged and demonstrating Pirate PRIDE! I am proud to be their Principal, and am grateful for your support!

Please make sure that if your child is arriving by car, they are dropped off in the car loop at the front of the school on 14th Street, and pull all the way to the front of the loop beyond the front office entrance so we can help ease traffic backups on 14^th Street. Throughout most of the school year it is dark at arrival, and drivers aren’t always looking for or able to see children crossing the street in random places. Staff hours do not begin until 6:45am, and gates will not be open for students until 6:50am. This means that if your child is arriving prior to the 6:50am drop-off time, there will NOT be supervision available. Too early arrival also makes it extremely difficult for staff to even get into the parking lot, further complicating and delaying supervision availability. Please help us keep everyone safe by making sure your children are not here until 6:50am at the earliest.

Football practice is from 1:30-3:00p on Monday, and from 1:30-3:45p Tuesday through Friday.

Volleyball practice is from 1:30-3:45p Monday through Thursday.

Cheer practice is from 1:30-3:00p on Wednesday and Thursday.

Tuesday there is a Beginning Band Instrument “Petting Zoo” from 6:00-7:30p.
