Hello Pirates, this is your principal Ms. Gilbert, at Pasco Middle School with information and our calendar of events for next week.

On Monday October 31st, we will be permitting students to wear School Appropriate Halloween Costumes to school (everything worn must be within limits of the regular student dress code). Students will NOT be permitted to wear any masks/head coverings on our campus. Any costume that has affiliation to violence must also be left at home. Accessories to costumes such as fake weapons are also NOT permitted. If a student has a mask on, Pasco Middle School teachers and staff will ask them to take it off and put it into their backpacks. If this rule is not followed, we may also take the mask from the student and ask for it to be picked at the end of the day. Inflatable costumes are discouraged as well.

We are also starting a fundraiser next week. Students will be provided a golden ticket with instructions of how to participate in the fundraiser to win amazing prizes and an invitation to the Day of Awesomeness Event in December during the kick-off celebration. Students and families are asked to submit 10 emails addresses or phone numbers into the system the night of the kick-off. This fundraiser is easy and as the donations come in, students will win daily prizes! More information will be coming out about this event next week via email!

Monday, Cheer Practice is from 1:45-3:00p. Monday through Friday, Girls Basketball Practice is from 1:45-3:15p, and Boys Soccer is from 1:45-3:30p.

Tuesday, we are kicking off our Step It Up fundraiser.

Wednesday is an Early Release Day. Students will be dismissed at 11:30a.
